Gala Dinner fundraiser event

What we do?

We host a variety of fundraising experiences, including enriching gala dinners and luncheons focused around Mental and Physical Health, featuring engaging entertainment and inspiring speakers. Our events are highlighted by amazing auctions and opportunities to mingle with VIPS and hear inspiring stories. All funds raised go towards supporting our flagship event, the Festival of FUN, A special stadium event dedicated to providing enjoyable experiences and opportunities for individuals with disabilities and their family.

Festival of FUN 2022 Showreel

This video is proudly brought to you by Mable! The Festival of FUN was created to unite everyone to celebrate people with a disability, with INCLUSION, ACCESSIBILITY, EQUALITY, LOVE and FUN. Inside the stadium, we created a family-friendly picnic blanket SINGALONG event for people with a disability, their friends, families and carers, which was extraordinary. Where we sang some of the best, most FUN songs to sing ever written. On the stage, we were entertained by multiple incredibly talented Queensland artists, with and without a disability. Four and a half hours of nonstop entertainment. The line-up included the Queen of Soul, Lisa Hunt, crooner extraordinaire Charlie Mitchell, the multi-talented Tim McCallum, Rock god Matt Stokes, powerhouse Mic on Wheels, Girl group SASS, soulful Alanah Stone, and some very special tributes to music icons Oliva Newton-John performed by the talented “Sharon Lee”, a fantastic tribute to Elvis Presley by “Brendon Chase” and our own version of the “Rat Pack” led by “Tim McCallum, Tony Dee and Charlie Mitchell” on the day… You just had to be there… all brought together by musical director Dean Harawira, and his 11-piece LIVE band made up of some of the finest musicians in Queensland. Rock legend “Mikey Webb” provided a stellar four-and-a-half hours of Auslan interpreting to deliver an MVP performance loved by all … It was complimented outside the stadium with a fully inclusive, accessible and interactive “Business Expo”, a “Try Me Sports Arena”, an “Art Hub”, and an “Animal and Reptile petting area”, to name some of the highlights. With multiple events inside and outside supporting The inaugural event, which was held at Cbus Super Stadium on the Gold Coast Australia (by the way, the staff at Cbus were so supportive and amazing all the way through, THANK YOU, team Cbus), the first Festival of FUN exceeded all expectations for all who attended or streamed the event online live. See you at the Festival of FUN 2023!

I applaud anyone that can help get behind this truly remarkable organisation and what they are aiming to do. If you are able then please do what you can to chip in and join something very special and help change the lives of people living with disability all over the country.
